A Pretty Fall Wedding at Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey
Maxim Tridente (28 and a registered nurse) and John Casas (28 and an electrician) kept things light and organic for their fall wedding. They wanted to fit in with their venue, the Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey. The conservatory, where Max and John had their ceremony, had light flooding from all its windows and beautiful earthy flower arrangements hanging from the ceiling. To let the venue speak for itself, they chose a soft color palette of ivory, blush and green. Theses colors were carried by the flower arrangements, which were made up of blush roses, white chrysanthemums, seeded eucalyptus and hanging amaranthus, as well as dried lotus pods as an organic element. These made up everything from the boutonnieres to the centerpieces at the ballroom reception. Max and John also incorporated some vintage flair into their wedding style. Their wedding invites were vintage-style with arabesque details, and John and his groomsmen carried vintage pocket watches with their charcoal gray three-piece suits. To pay homage to their extensive vinyl record collection, Max and John asked their guests to sign their records instead of having them sign a traditional guest book. As wedding favors, the couple gave their guests jars of chimichurri sauce made from a recipe that's been in John's family for generations. For the first dance, Max's dad surprised her with a dance to a recording of him singing their song,"Daddy's Little Angel." "He had the whole place in tears," Max says.
