A Pretty Beach Wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida
Ann Minihane (32 and a special-education teacher) and Ryan Minihane (29 and in education) filled their beach wedding with just the right mix of romantic and garden-style accents. The couple started their day with a simple ceremony at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida. Large silver lanterns filled with seashells and candlelight lined the aisle as the Ann and Ryan stood under a classic white wedding arch. Lush greenery and pink Juliet roses arranged by Botanicals on the Gulf decorated the front posts with a hint of color. A gorgeous ocean view served as their backdrop. After the couple shared their first kiss, the party moved to an outdoor reception. Tablescapes of greenery, hydrangeas and Juliet roses (Ann’s favorite flowers) were met with dozens of floating candles that gave off a soft glow. “We had the most amazing florist,” Ann says. Another standout detail was their classic white wedding cake. Kakes by Karen baked a three-tier confection with cascading pink roses along each tier and a silver ribbon at the base. After a slice, Ann and Ryan spent the rest of their night reconnecting with guests. “We really made an effort to hang out with our friends and family at the pool and on the beach,” Ann says. “We wanted them to know how much we appreciated them making the effort to fly to Florida and celebrate our special day.” Tonya Malay Photography captured each blush and neutral details of the day, below.
