Four different arrangements adorned the reception tables. Some tables had large bouquets of garden roses, craspedia, dusty miller and astilbes in silver-footed bowls. Others had arrangements in glass vases or mint julep cups, or were topped with mercury-glass candles.
Instead of table numbers, Carly made table “flags” using scrapbooking paper. Each table had a different flag, the colors and patterns of which corresponded to the escort cards.
To top the two-tiered buttercream cake, Carly commissioned a drawing of the couple on card stock.
Bistro lights and string lights were hung above the tables and dance floor to add warmth to the industrial look of the venue. Place settings were kept simple: Plain white plates sat atop navy tablecloths, and napkins were tied with baker’s twine.
To complement the bridesmaids’ blue-and-white polka-dot dresses, the guys wore light-gray suits with navy polka-dot ties.

The First Dance
The ceremony decor was kept simple to let the beauty of the ballroom shine. An ivory runner lined the aisle, and tall arrangements of hydrangeas and yellow garden roses flanked the altar.
