A Preppy Nautical Wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port, Massachusetts

Brittany Quinn (27 and an event planner) and Antonio Iantosca (38 and a director of sales) met on Brittany's first day of work as a receptionist at a company located in Boston, where Anthony also happened to work. "He overheard me talking about visiting Madison, NJ to see my best friend and knew that was his 'in' to talk to me, because Anthony had lived in Madison for six years!" says Brittany. They hit it off immediately and four years later, Anthony proposed. He whisked Brittany off to New York City on a whim, with the cover that they were going to spend the weekend with her best friend Kristin, who lived there. When they arrived to the hotel, waiting in the room were flowers, champagne and chocolates from Brittany's favorite cafe, plus a note that read "Will you spend the rest of your life with me?" And just as Brittany said "Yes," there was a knock on the door and in walked her best friend to celebrate the happy occasion. When it came time to plan their wedding, Brittany knew exactly where to turn. "Since I was a little girl, I always knew I'd be married on Cape Cod," says Brittany. "My family spent their summers in Chatham, MA – which prompted my love for sun, sand and the ocean." The couple drove down to the summer hot spot to scope out venues, settling on the Ocean Room at the Wychmere Beach Club after falling in love with the venue's open air feel, high ceilings and bright, cheerful vibe that meshed perfectly with their vision. To celebrate the summer season, the couple chose a vibrant color palette of aqua, citrus green, royal blue and pink. Brittany loves Lilly Pulitzer, so the brand's preppy aesthetic was used by the couple as inspiration for their nautical affair, making in appearance in everything from the bright blue invitations to the bridesmaids' striped dresses.
