Inspired by their venue’s unique blend of modern and classic architecture, Kali Falk (34 and a media operations specialist) and Adam Rowings (32 and a tech analytics manager) infused traditional white blooms and seasonal pops of red into their posh wedding day design.

“The place is stunning at every turn,” Kali says of the museum’s manicured lawns. Immediately after saying “I do” under a birchwood arch, the newlyweds walked back up the aisle to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Loose, verdant eucalyptus bouquets popped against the muted mink-gray bridesmaid dresses.

Dinner was held in the museum’s historic Italian courtyard, which boasts old-world charm and an abundance of market lights. “I wanted the reception to look elegant, clean and uncluttered,” Kali says of decorating tables with cream-colored linens and gold flatware.

As a nod to the museum’s existing artwork, feathered shuttlecocks served as sporty escort cards.

A live band was essential for music-obsessed Adam, who performed a surprise song for Kali in front of family and friends. Afterward, The Magnetics played a set list of time-honored classics and indie-rock hits. “Our band was amazing and so much fun to work with,” Kali says.

Instead of signing a traditional guest book, partygoers penned their well-wishes on whimsical postcards.
