A Patriotic Wedding at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC

Tiffany McGuffee (26, a communications director) and Jordan Haverly (27, a press secretary) were both beginning their careers on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC when they met for the first time at a dive bar called the Capitol Lounge. They continued to get to know each other over time and soon their relationship became serious, which eventually led to an intimate proposal prior to boarding a friend's private boat. The couple decided to get married at the Capitol Hill Club where they had many dates, and was also symbolic of meeting each other on Capitol Hill. DC themed table numbers and escort cards were designed for the reception tables, which were dressed in simple ivory linens and napkins that sat on top of gold charger plates. From the crab cake entrees to the acoustic musical entertainment at the reception, Tiffany and Jordan's wedding went perfectly. After the ceremony and reception were done for the evening, guests headed down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol Lounge, where Tiffany and Jordan first met. Before doing so, the married couple's patriotism shined through with red, white and blue as they exited the reception with American flags and pompoms being waved, with the DJ playing "Proud to Be An American" as the last song of the memorable night.
