A Patriotic Wedding at Altland House at Liberty Forge in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Courtney Lancaster (27 and a retail manager) and Jonathan Hopcraft (27 and an executive director) wanted to highlight their love of politics at their wedding. They also wanted to incorporate their preppy aesthetic into their wedding style. With this in mind, Courtney and Jon had a "red, white and blueberry" theme for their summer wedding at Altland House at Liberty Forge in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Their color palette included cherry red, stark white and navy blue, and this came through in the wedding party's look. Courtney's bridesmaids wore navy dresses, and red heels, while the groomsmen wore striped red and blue ties with their navy suits. The centerpieces also reflected a "Fourth of July" vibe, with small red arrangements of dahlias, zinnias and ranunculus tied together with striped blue and white ribbon. Courtney and Jon also hired a calligrapher to design beautiful chalkboard signs for the welcome table, program and dinner menu that featured blueberry motifs and stripes to match the wedding style. Our favorite detail? Courtney's beautiful lace overlay Sottero and Midgley wedding dress. Teal Photography was there to capture the day.
