A Pastel Southern Wedding at The Oaks in Centreville, Alabama

The style of the wedding was romantic with lots of pastels and soft colors.
Tara and Will decided to a first look before their indoor ceremony. "We were in our own world and not thinking about anything but each other and how excited we were to be married!" says Tara. "It really made us feel so much less antsy before the ceremony and helped us to get more of the pictures we wanted."
Tara found her perfect tulle ball gown at Bella Couture Bridal shop in Mount Laurel, Alabama.
"We chose our wedding because it was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we wanted: a small, one room chapel for the ceremony, a barn for the photobooth and pictures outside, a conservatory for the food and drinks, an outdoor dance area for guests, and a huge antebellum home for the wedding party to get ready in," says Tara.
The bride went with cornflower blue for her short bridesmaid dresses because she wanted a color that would stand out in photos. M

"We had a huge wooden cross covered in gorgeous flowers as the backdrop for our ceremony," says Tara. "I wanted our wedding to glorify Jesus and all he's done for us!"

Tara incorporated hydrangeas throughout her decor because of their personal meaning. "My great-grandmother always had beautiful hydrangea bushes at her house, and they remind me of her!"

Tara and Will provided activities to entertain the children at their wedding throughout the ceremony and reception, including hula hooping, coloring, bubbles and chalk drawing.
"Since we were going to have many children in attendance, we had a kids' tent with activities for them to do during the ceremony and reception," says Tara.rnrn
