Elegant but modern, traditional but out of the ordinary, classic but timeless—that's what Kelly and Paul had in mind when planning their grand fall wedding.

Kelly and Paul were married in the Basilica of St. Lawrence in a traditional Catholic ceremony.
The reception tables had a mix of high and low centerpieces to add variety and depth to the room.
Kelly chose a gown with a tulle skirt, crystal-embellished bodice and sweetheart neckline. It was fun and extremely comfortable, but also had a very classic silhouette, she says.
Wine and beer was served during the cocktail hour, and the space was decorated with white and gold accents.
Kelly says she wanted something out of the ordinary, so she chose a cascade-shaped bouquet of all-white flowers.
Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers played while Kelly and Paul had their first dance.
The bridesmaids' small bouquets were made up of white roses and ranunculuses.
Kelly surprised her groom with donuts as a snack before the cake was served. Paul used donuts in his proposal, so this treat was a nod to that memory.
The couple put a non-traditional monogram on cocktail napkins. While they mainly stuck to a white color palette, hints of gold appeared throughout the event.
The bridesmaids wore short neutral dresses and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos.
White flower arrangements, candles and glass orbs filled with tealights and flower petals hung above the head table.
The couple chose classic, formal invitations with metallic accents. For rings, Kelly chose rose gold and Paul chose a simple white gold band.
The centerpieces overflowed with white blossoms and large green leaves.
The colors for Kelly and Paul's wedding day were white with touches of gold and silver with plenty of texture. The colors helped bring everything together to give it the modern but classic feel, the bride says.
The bride wore metallic shoes with a low heel from Banana Republic.
The cake was the only thing I had ever dreamed about for my wedding day, Kelly says. The cake was so beautiful that we decided not to use a topper.
