Alexandra Cowley ( 25, a news anchor) and Lucas Corey (26, a national account coordinator at Insight Global) had a neutral colored wedding in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida with rustic accents. “My husband and I both love the country. We wore our cowboy boots for some pictures and wanted everything to look natural and warm,” says Alexandra. Her and Lucas met through his cousin in Tallahassee at Florida State University. When it was time to propose, Lucas told Alexandra they were going to a friend’s wedding in Nantucket. “Lucas asked a stranger to take a picture of us. That's when he got down on one knee,” says Alexandra. They were wed one year later near Destin, Florida, where the couple spent one of their first weekend getaways. Both the white chapel in Seaside, Florida, and their reception at Bentley's on the Bay in Santa Rosa Beach were decorated with neutral tones. White hydrangeas and baby’s breath were placed along their ceremony aisle, in the bridal party’s bouquets, the men’s boutonnieres and their reception centerpieces. During the dockside reception, Alexandra and Lucas’s white decor was accented with candles and rustic elements. “We had hay barrels for our guests to sit on at the end of the dock at our venue and beautiful cafe lights were strung over the deck where our guests sat and danced,” says Alexandra. Acknowledging how they met, the FSU fight song was played during their reception.

Alexandra’s 1-year-old nephew, Mason, showed off his new found ability to walk at the wedding. “My sister Stephanie held his hand down the aisle. He smiled and laughed the whole way!” says Alexandra.
The couple had a traditional ceremony at a white chapel near Destin, Florida, for personal reasons. “We'd spent one of our first weekends away together in Destin and fell in love with the place!” says Alexandra.
Alexandra and Lucas’s First Kiss
Alexandra and Lucas’s reception was held dockside at Bentley's on the Bay in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Their reception was decorated with white linens, white folding chairs, and silver accented centerpieces.
Alexandra chose a white strapless Jim Hjelm ball gown with a beaded bodice. The tiered tulle skirt was accented with horsehair edges. “It made me feel like a princess,” says Alexandra.
Keeping with their natural and pastel color palette, the bridesmaids wore strapless dresses in neutral tones. Alexandra’s Matrons of Honor, who are also her twin sisters, were distinguished with pale pink halter floor-length dresses. The groomsmen complemented them with charcoal gray Vera Wang tuxedos and tan ties. Lucas wore the same tuxedo with a silver tie.
Alexandra carried a burlap wrapped bouquet of white garden roses, hydrangea and baby’s breath arranged by Myrtie Blue.

Alexandra and Lucas’s table numbers had a special meaning behind their wood accents. “The wooden stands are actually tree stumps we sawed from the trees in the backyard of my husband's childhood home in Lakeville, Massachusetts,” says Alexandra. The table numbers were decorated with silver glitter.
Each table was set with a large metal lantern with intricate details. Filled with candles, they were placed near a burlap and lace wrapped mason jar filled with baby’s breath and hydrangea.
The couple chose a white four-tier confection with a quilting and piping detail on the bottom two tiers. Three tiers were also accented with a strip of silver rhinestones.
