A Nautical Wedding on a Marina Jack II Cruise in Sarasota, Florida

While they live in Northern Dallas, Britney Pelt, 30, and Wesley Sanders, also known as Wes, 33,  had their nautical themed beach wedding in Sarasota, Florida. "We wanted beachy and nautical, but not too Jimmy Buffet (difficult to do when the Groom is a huge fan)," says Britney. The couple chose navy and blush pink as their wedding colors.  Both families had a direct role in creating the couple's nautical wedding. Their invitations were printed by Britney's family's printing business. As guests entered the ceremony location in Lido Key, each saw hand painted signs made with wood from Wes' grandparents' ranch in Texas. One sign by the wedding arch read "Mr. and Mrs. Sanders." After the ceremony, the couple and their guests left on a three-hour sunset cruise for the cocktail hour and reception. Britney and Wes served chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, portobello mushroom and spinach as well as various sides for dinner on the first deck. Guests then moved upstairs to the second deck to listen and dance to music from either a guitar player or DJ.
