A Nautical Marsh Wedding at Village Creek Landing in Saint Simons Island, Georgia
For Natalie Amoroso (31 and a biologist) and Evan Goldstrohm (26 and an environmental compliance specialist), an outdoor wedding was a natural fit for their mutual love of nature. Tucked away on the Coastal Waterways of Saint Simons Island, GA, the two celebrated with a nautical-themed ceremony and reception. The bride wore a strapless, ivory gown with blue shoes for a pop of color. She carried a loose wildflower bouquet with blue hydrangeas, white anemones and lily grass, arranged by Edward on Saint Simons. One untraditional twist we loved? During the ceremony, Natalie and Evan used watercolors to paint a fish on canvas while guests passed around a pouch with couple's rings in it and offered a blessing. After the ceremony, guests were invited to a cocktail hour where they could play checkers, Jenga and cornhole. For a hometown touch, Natalie and Evan served their favorite beers from their home states: Dogfish Head and Sweetwater beer. The beautiful day was captured by Bobbi Brinkman Photography.
