A Nautical Lakeside Wedding at the Nor'Easter Club on Harbor Island, Ohio
Megan (27 and a cardiovascular sonographer) and Justin (26 and a UPS employee) began falling for each other while falling out of a plane. They had met each other before through mutual friends who were dating, but it wasn’t until a few years later that Megan invited Justin to go skydiving with her and her brother, Grant. Grant quickly bonded with Justin during the extreme sport, and invited him to dinner that night with him and Megan. The next day, Justin took Megan out on a date. “We were together every day after that,” says Megan. Three years later, Justin and Megan were walking their dogs in Antrim Park in Columbus, OH. Justin had brought a backpack for his dog Remy. When Megan suggested he put it on Remy, Justin kneeled down, pulled a ring out, and proposed to Megan. The couple decided to get married at Harbor Island off the coast of Port Clinton, OH, where Megan’s parents have a lake house. Their wedding was nautical themed, with a navy blue and coral color scheme. “I tried not to ‘go overboard,’ pun intended!” says Megan. The ceremony was held outdoor on the dock at the Nor’Easter Club and the reception was held on its poolside patio. “The best part was having an intimate party with our most special and favorite people.”
