A Nautical, DIY Wedding at West Dennis Yacht Club in West Dennis, Massachusetts

Since they were opposed to the traditional blue and white nautical color scheme, Caitlin Toland (28 and in marketing communications) and David Henault (28 and in banking) based their maritime-themed wedding on Caitlin's favorite color: green. Bridesmaid dresses, handmade sailboat centerpieces, the wedding cake and buoy escort cards all featured a soft, light green. Right on the Bass River, West Dennis Yacht Club in West Dennis, Massachusetts, was a picturesque backdrop, highlighting the day's nautical elements. Anchors, buoys, sailboats and fish netting were among the stylistic details that added to the theme. The couple created mini sailboat table numbers from driftwood and fabric as well as crafted DIY buoys from wine corks.
