A Nature-Inspired Outdoor Wedding at French Park in Cincinnati, Ohio
rn Allison Maume (30 and a horticulture designer) and Jacob Wallis (29 and an application engineer) reflected their shared love for nature through their outdoor wedding location at French Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, decked out in blooms that followed a rich seasonal palette. "For most of our relationship, Jacob worked as a bartender and I designed floral shows, so we combined the two by using flowers in bottle vases," Allison says. "We wanted to rely on mostly flowers for the decorations that represented us." These meaningful arrangements by Cincinnati Parks Florist accented the day, from the ceremonial backdrop to the dining table centerpieces; they were even in Allison's down hairstyle. Allison and Jacob held their ceremony in French Park's sunken gardens, surrounded by the natural landscape that revealed gorgeous views of the Cincinnati valley. After the ceremony, guests moved to the white-tented reception and found their seating assignments through bark-inspired table numbers. Since Allison and Jacob had a tough time deciding on a wedding cake, they picked five. But more than the desserts themselves, we loved the display captured by Fyrefly Photography even more—with each cake perched on top of a glass stand that resembled the bottle vases, surrounded with more seasonal blooms that tied the entire look together.
