Chelsea Yoder (24 and an administrative assistant) and Jonathan Yoder (24 and a management trainee) were friends in high school. One Valentine’s Day, Jonathan grabbed Chelsea and they shared their first kiss; they began dating shortly after. Years later, Jonathan proposed to Chelsea in their home with a ring atop her favorite flavor of Sprinkles cupcake, and the box was decorated in photos of them throughout the years. The couple got married at Van Dickson Ranch in Skull Valley, Arizona, under a canopy of trees. They combined their favorite colors, blue and green, to create a color palette that complemented the natural, rustic setting. The reception took place outside under tents, complete with a barbecue dinner provided by the ranch. Chelsea and Jonathan incorporated DIY decor into their wedding, including picture blocks into their table centerpieces. “Jon and I were together for seven years before we were married. The picture blocks reflect how Jonathan and I have grown over the years,” she says.

Chelsea wore an A-line wedding dress from David’s Bridal. “It was the right amount of elegant and the right amount of class -- not too over-the-top,” says the bride.
