A Natural Wedding at Inner Circle Estate in Deckerville, Michigan

Alexandra Miseta (30 and an advertising executive) and Bradley Foutch (30 and a financial adviser) are a perfect match—according to Match.com, that is. “Brad thinks I’m lying when I say this, but I knew I was going to marry him after our first date,” Alexandra says. In fact, Alexandra logged that thought into a memory book two months after they began dating, noting that she knew Brad was the one. “That’s why our vows were my favorite part of the wedding,” she says of presenting Brad with the book during the middle of their ceremony at Inner Circle Estate in Deckerville, Michigan. There, Alexandra donned a strapless gown and an ethereal flower crown made from green and white blooms—a nod to her Swedish upbringing. “When I was little, my parents would make me wear a flower crown to the midsummer festival," Alexandra says. "I thought this was a great way to bring back a part of my family into my overall look.” To showcase the lush gardens of the tucked-away estate, neutral linens and wooden accents played up the venue’s natural aesthetic, along with an organic palette of green, cream and gold. “It’s the most charming little castle,” Alexandra says of decorating the estate with moss, tree trunks, succulents and candles. Thanks to the presence of some unexpected rain, Alexandra slipped into rain boots for the reception, and the pair made the last-minute decision to change their recessional song. “We planned to walk up the aisle to ‘Beautiful Day’ by U2, but we changed it to ‘Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head,” Alexandra laughs. —Alexa Wybraniec
