A Natural Wedding at Becker Vineyards in Fredericksburg, Texas

This sweet vineyard wedding makes us want to run through a field of lavender! Meredith Turner (36 and in technical sales) and Matt Turner (34 and in retail management) were inspired by their venue, Becker Vineyards in Fredericksburg, Texas, to create a wedding that felt natural and effortless. “The lavender fields at Becker Vineyards were in full bloom, and we played off that as a central theme to a lot of our decorations,” Meredith says. The couple incorporated lavender into the groom’s boutonniere and at each place setting next to their guests’ name cards. The ceremony took place outdoors in front of an old oak tree, followed by a reception and family-style dinner in the Lavender Haus, where each course featured a wine pairing from Becker Vineyards. Meredith was impressed with the caterer, Delicious Details, which she says served flavorful food at the right temperature—the guests gave rave reviews. “The intimacy of the day was what I feel made the event so us and so special,” Meredith says. “With only 30 people, we had our families and friends that are part of our family now.
