A Natural Wedding at Aspen Grove in Incline Village, Nevada
Aspen Grove in Incline Village, Nevada has it all—lush forests, colorful flowers, the Sierra Nevada mountains in the backdrop and Lake Tahoe just across the street. That’s why Michelle Meadows (28 and a social worker) and Tad Meadows (31 and a UPS driver) fell in love with this place and got married there. Michelle and Tad’s palette held meaning for both of them: They chose red because Michelle has always loved red roses, and Tad thought charcoal gray would match and reflect his love for motors—cars, motorcycles and the like. As a very DIY bride, Michelle created the whole layout for her outdoor wedding ceremony, and she and Tad wrote their own vows. Tad even made three varieties of beer: a German hefeweizen, a white IPA and a hard apple cider. A standout detail? The wedding cake was so delicious, Michelle and Tad can’t wait to visit Tahoe House on their one-year anniversary to reminisce over the carrot and chocolate fudge cake they had at their wedding.
