A Natural, Summer Camp Wedding at Camp Vega in Fayette, Maine

Sarah Lowell (32, a Counselor) and Seth Harmon (35, an Accountant) were introduced by Seth's roommate (also Sarah's friend from high school) but didn't actually start dating until after a year of being friends. Seth proposed on a vacation in Southern France after a day of wine tasting. The couple held their wedding at Camp Vega, a girl's summer camp in Fayette, Maine. Sarah and Seth had grown up going to a summer cottage close to Vega, and the idea of having everyone stay in cabins and enjoy the wedding weekend was exactly what they had in mind. Since the wedding was at a Maine summer camp, the couple decided to stick with that theme, with rustic elements like log tables and benches for the reception tables and tables and a loon bird motif that was woven into many elements of the decor. A blue and  green color palette also helped bring out the rustic, natural setting of their wedding. "The whole "camp" experience truly reflected what is important to Seth and I. People getting together in a gorgeous spot and just having fun. Swimming, zip lining into the water, waterskiing, softball games, bluegrass, lobster, s'mores...there were so many fun aspects to the weekend!" Sarah recalls.
