A Natural, Spring Wedding at Historic Summit Inn in Farmington, Pennsylvania

What has a gorgeous mountaintop view, ultra-personalized centerpieces and custom menu cards? The answer: Jayme Detweiler (25 and a magazine associate editor) and Ryan Crowell’s (25 and a CPA) stunning spring wedding at Historic Summit Inn in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Every detail had a personal spin, starting with the venue. Since the majority of their guests were flatlanders, Jayme and Ryan wanted everyone to enjoy the majestic view from their ballroom. They captured the hills of natural scenery with a few group shots by Michael Will Photographers and custom centerpieces made by her mother. Each tall and low arrangement featured handpicked artificial succulents, bunches of greenery and fabric peach dahlias. But one of Jayme’s favorite details was the custom menu cards. Lined with a garland of pink watercolor flowers and greens, each one had a personal message to the guest according to their tastes and interests. “A lot of people could tell I had put a ton of time into the details and made an effort to make them feel welcome,” Jayme says. “That was something very important to me. It meant a lot to hear them say that.”
