Sara Vitales (27 and works in child direct care) and Andrew Munoz (27 and works in logistics) met in their early pre-teen years and were best friends all throughout grade school. It wasn’t until their senior year of high school that the spark ignited and they took the leap into romance. They took their relationship on a slow and steady cruise over nine years. The couple regularly gets caricatures done as a cute yearly photo, so on one winter night when Andrew took Sara to a park in downtown Houston and ran into a caricature artist, Sara suspected nothing. The caricature artist turned his work around to reveal Andrew down on one knee with a quote: “Will You Marry Me?” The couple fell in love with Amber Springs by The Springs Events in Montgomery, Texas, and wanted to have their spring wedding there surrounded by natural pine trees and wooded scenery. The color palette consisted of neutral tones such as burlap, brown and blush inspired by the woodsy, rustic theme of the venue. Texas born, raised and proud, the couple and their wedding party wore cowboy boots all night long. In addition to great food, drinks and music flowing all night, the couple entertained guests with the same caricature artist that took part in their proposal.

The bride chose a strapless, basket weave organza ball gown with many small flowers, pearls and rhinestones cascading down the long train. The dress is from White by Vera Wang at David's Bridal in Houston.

“We chose paper flowers because they would last forever, symbolizing our marriage and love,” says the bride. Paper flowers were used in corsages, boutonnieres, bouquets, kissing balls, cake decorations and table arrangements.
The bridesmaids wore a sleeveless blush dress with a pleated skirt with their own cowboy boots. The groomsmen matched the bridesmaids with blush bow ties paired with tan vests and pants.
"The outdoor gazebo surrounded by pine trees was a beautiful sight and perfect for our outdoor ceremony," says Sara. The ceremony took place at Amber Springs in Montgomery, Texas.
