A Natural Mountain Wedding at Nature Pointe in Tijeras, New Mexico
Beth Hennie (25 and an elementary school teacher) and Hans Dreissnack (25 and a hospital administrator) met on a trip to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Durango, Colorado. Hans proposed just over a year later on Valentine’s Day. The bride’s parents lined the walkway up to the couple’s favorite restaurant with red heart balloons while the couple was inside eating, and after dinner, Hans dropped down on one knee. The couple got married at Nature Pointe in Tijeras, New Mexico. “We wanted a wedding that felt like a faraway mountain wedding but was close enough for in-town guests to drive,” says Beth. She chose the colors coral, iris and canary to complement the fresh, natural surroundings. “I think the overall laid-back feel of the wedding reflected us as a couple,” says Beth.
