A Natural, Bohemian Wedding at Chatfield Hollow Bed and Breakfast in Killingworth, CT
As travel lovers, Nicole and Peter Baiocco wed at Chatfield Hollow Bed and Breakfast because "the environmental landscape felt as though you were visiting more than one place during your visit," they say. Their bohemian stationery suite featured unique calligraphy and watercolor designs, and it introduced the soft coral accent color of the day. The ceremony took place on a stone patio in the woods. The aisle, which was lined with dried grasses, led to a triangular wood arch that represented a tattoo shared by Nicole and Peter. After the nuptials, guests attended an outdoor cocktail hour with alpacas from a local farm, a Turkish cigar bar and a comfortable lounge seating area. The reception was in a tent dressed up with white farm tables and twinkling lights. "The copper chargers, amber goblets, copper flatware and gray napkins made the tables pop against all the white furniture," Nicole says. Tall centerpieces with dried flowers and pampas grass also added intimacy to the space. Nicole stunned in a modern bohemian dress with elegant wavy hair, while Peter chose a three-piece sand-colored suit with a wool textured vest. The bridesmaids perfectly matched the couple with floor-length dusty-pink dresses.
