Since Lane Litz (29 and in education technology management) and Cameron Frecklington (34 and a journalist) met in China, they wanted to pay tribute to the place where their love story began. "We went for something original that reflected our story as a couple," Lane says. "Black and metals with some jewel tones were our wedding colors, and we threw in some Asian elements." The Asian-inspired wedding took place throughout the New River Gorge property in Lansing, West Virginia, starting with the ceremony on the wooden deck. Guests found bright red and black fans on their seats that faced Lane and Cameron as they got married, with an elevated view of the natural woodland behind them. White escort cards had bright red and yellow designs that depicted zodiac animals, with numbers that matched tables draped with white and black runners depicting Chinese characters. Our favorite detail had to be Lane's modern white wedding dress—created in China—paired with a black belt that had a gold metallic center. Check out more details with Asian influence, captured on camera by the Oberports, below.

Lane held a round bouquet filled with classic red roses. The flower arrangement's bold color popped against her stunning modern white dress, custom-made in Beijing, China.
At the outdoor ceremony, guests found an open black and red fan placed on their seats. This ceremonial prop (among many others) went along with the Asian influence that popped up throughout the day's decor.
Lane stood between her maids of honor and the rest of the bridesmaids, who all wore black knee-length dresses in different styles. Lane's two sisters were her maids of honor, and they rocked V-neck gowns with cap sleeves that flared inward. The other bridesmaids wore dresses with regular cap sleeves and scoop necklines.
Cameron ordered his custom-made black suit from the same place Lane got her dress: John Pei Tailor Shop in Beijing, China. A black tie with a simple clip matched the suit, accented with a white square folded into the pocket.
The ceremony took place on the wooden deck overlooking the vast woodlands in the distance. A white-covered table had several props used throughout the ceremony—from the baskets of red rose petals sprinkled over Lane and Cameron, to the bananas they ate in unity.
During the ceremony, both Lane and Cameron had rose petals tossed onto them as a celebration of their unity. Cameron wore a black custom-made suit paired with a black tie and white pocket square, while Lane stood next to him wearing her modern white dress.
Lane had her hair styled into a high, tight updo, which helped showcase her beautiful dangling gold earrings. In this shot, Lane and Cameron shared their first kiss as a married couple during their outdoor ceremony at New River Gorge in Lansing, West Virginia.
Throughout the day, guests signed a colorful board depicting a world map. The guest book alternative reflected how travel played a key role in Lane and Cameron's relationship, especially since they met in China.
White escort cards with cream-colored backgrounds had clothespins attaching the paper goods to a wire board. Each card depicted a yellow or red zodiac animal, along with a guest name and table number.
Lane and Cameron stood in the middle of their wedding party, which was dressed in black. The groomsmen matched Cameron's look with black suits, while most of the bridesmaids wore knee-length black dresses with classic cap sleeves. The two maids of honor stood out with their cap sleeves that flared inward toward the neckline.
Dining tables had white paper runners draped down the middle, depicting a variety of Chinese characters that fit the Asian-inspired theme. In addition to the runner, the table had settings of gold decorative place mats and small white plates.
This three-tier naked cake had creamy filling gushing out of each layer, displayed on a flat white stand for guests to admire. The dessert had a single red rose decorating the side and red rose petals at the bottom.
Lane wore a gorgeous pair of long dangling gold earrings, which went along with the day's metallic and jewel-tone palette. With her hair pulled from her face into a tight updo hairstyle, nothing blocked the earrings from showing.
