Scott had a lot in common with Andrea. They went to the same business school, competed in triathlons, and both moved to San Francisco after school. But two months before moving to New York City for a new job, Scott realized there might be something more. Scott asked Andrea to be his plus one at a wedding and, though it was awkward at first, they had an amazing time. The two whirlwind dated until Scott left California. Andrea and Scott showed off their playful style by handing out pins with fun slogans, like “I heart Scott” and “Wedding with Altitude.”
Guests grabbed paper umbrellas upon entering the ceremony, to take cover from the summer sun.
Since their guests would be eating cupcakes, Andrea and Scott cut into a small cake decorated with a fondant branch and leaves to match their mountain town décor.
The Spring Creek Bluegrass Band played as Andrea walked down the aisle and again after the ceremony. “We love them!” says the bride.
The same person who did the invites created these unique ceremony programs. She used green paper and a fun airplane graphic pulling a banner that spelled out the wedding day details.
Andrea and Scott love the summer camp feel of Chautauqua. They used a green, white, and brown color scheme to match the earthy surroundings. Pops of pink and images of tandem bicycles reflected their fun personalities.
