A Modern Wedding with Live Performances at The Bougainvillea Estate in Indio, California

Jeffrey Consoletti and Robert Czechowicz had a mini-destination wedding in Palm Springs, which is one of their favorite getaway vacation spots from their hometown of Los Angeles. The three-day affair started with a ”Roasts & Toasts" comedy show and dinner at The Chateau at Lake La Quinta, and it cumulated with a wedding at The Bougainvillea Estate with 280 guests. "As we dove into planning, we always envisioned a very classy, distinctive affair," Jeffrey says, adding that the event had a color palette of black, white and gold. Because Jeffrey is an event producer, the couple completely customized the entire soiree‚ including the ceremony at the end of the driveway. It began with a ring warming tradition and included personalized vows. Afterward, guests walked into the mansion of the estate for a “gold gilded” cocktail hour with a sunset palette of color. The reception took place on the main lawn, where a large stage grabbed everyone's attention. "Over 150 lighting instruments throughout the property created a one-of-a-kind concert experience," Jeffrey says. "We had 14-foot billboard style cut-outs of each groom that were used on our website and flanked the stage. The images were turned high-contrast and appeared in bright pink to give guests a larger-than-life photo moment with us." Guests sat at tables of 16-20 people, where they dined on a delicious family-style meal and took in speeches, specialty dance numbers and live performances between courses. The performances included a surprise reveal of the couple and a concert from recording artist Betty Who. Both grooms donned black tuxedos; Jeffrey choose a peak lapel for his jacket, while Robert went with a slender shawl lapel. They also changed into different jackets during the night, with Jeffrey in white shawl-lapel tuxedo jacket and Robert in a royal purple velvet jacket. The day after the memorable wedding, guests attended a “Bikinis & Martinis Recovery Soiree" before heading home.
