The Bride Alison Case (Casey) Weinberg, 28, an attorney at Stein, Sperling, Bennett, DeJong, Driscolle & Greenfeig The Groom Keith Florance, 29, a senior consultant for Deloitte Consulting The Date May 15 Bright yellow bridesmaid dresses inspired the yellow, red, black and white color palette. “Then I realized these are also the colors of Maryland, which seemed fitting, so we just went with it,” says Casey. The couple incorporated a Maryland crab motif and vintage photos of Baltimore as a regional tribute.

Guests were served water or cocktails before the ceremony in a circular courtyard at AVAM, facing Federal Hill.
In lieu of traditional bouquets, the bridesmaids slipped on exotic wrist corsages made of eye-catching red and yellow blooms.
The linen programs were made to match the invitations’ red and yellow letterpress design with a red crest and the couple’s names.
Since one part of the room needed to be curtained off for the caterers, a black curtain was also used on the other side of the room for balance and created a lounge-feel. Black chairs with red cushions were one of the bride’s favorite details.
Casey chose red and black for all of the fabrics and reception décor, but kept the centerpiece flowers a sunny shade of yellow and displayed them in black vases.
Contemporary black vases held single calla lily heads and were surrounded with loose river rock for a sleek, modern vibe.
