A Modern Wedding at BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft in Birmingham, Alabama

Kellie Cosby (27 and a development consultant) and Collier Clark (29 and a project manager) went for an ultra-custom and modern wedding that fully embodied their personalities. “We are this walking juxtaposition of classic and modern or elegant and rugged,” Kellie says. “So we were very intentional about including both of our personalities in our wedding day decor.” With a little help from planners at Elite Engagements and florists from HotHouse Design Studio, every accent at BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft in Birmingham, Alabama, reflected their juxtaposing personalities. Modern floating-candle aisle decor contrasted the rustic branch candlesticks along their ceremony altar. During the reception, everything took on a woodland-inspired palette of eggplant, silver and sage. Elegant candle-filled tablescapes were paired with bold purple linens and lush green hydrangeas.
