The Bride Marla Lane, 32, a graduate student The Groom Brandon Parks, 34, self-employed The Date July 6 Deciding on their color palette was easy - Brandon voted for gray and yellow (two of his favorite colors), and Marla added white for a crisp, modern look. Their theme played into the palette perfectly: modern vintage with geometric details to make it unique.

Gray sugar ribbon wrapped the three tiers of the cake. Subtle floral details topped each layer, while sugar flowers finished the look.
Rocks were engraved with guests' names; when they flipped the rocks over, they found a sticker with their table number.
The bridesmaids wore dresses in varying shades of gray to flatter their own personal styles.
Gray Formalwear
Chandeliers hung over elegantly decorated tables. Gray linens and modern white chairs were accented with varying centerpieces of white and yellow flowers.
The couple exchanged vows overlooking San Francisco Bay. Yellow pomanders hung from trees defining the altar.
