For their industrial wedding, Heta Patel and Courtney Ciallella sent out black-and-white invitations accented with gold foil. It was the perfect introduction to their venue: a converted historic warehouse nestled on the banks of the river in Philadelphia. The celebration had plenty of modern touches—and it also featured no color palette, speeches or heavy decor. "We knew from the start that we didn't want a traditional wedding," Heta says. "Our main focus was good food, good drinks and lots of dancing." Heta wore a fashion-forward burgundy suit, while Courtney donned a sleek backless wedding dress. They also had six bridesmaids who sported black gowns—and two of them officiated the wedding in a loft-style room with exposed brick walls. Heta and Courtney stood underneath a copper arch with greenery, carnations and roses. The reception was also minimally decorated; the small dining tables were adorned with simple succulent centerpieces to let the distillery vibe shine through. Guests drank three different signature cocktails, noshed on Indian-inspired food and danced the night away.
