A Modern Restaurant Wedding at MyMoon in Brooklyn, New York

Ashley Asres and Julian Yalaju hosted an urban wedding at MyMoon, a modern restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. "We live in Brooklyn and absolutely love it, so we wanted to make sure our guests were able to get the Brooklyn experience," Ashley says. "The palette was dark fall colors, which worked perfectly with our dark and moody venue." Ashley wore an elegant off-the-shoulder dress, while her bridesmaids channeled the season in jewel-tone gowns that matched their red bouquets. For the ceremony, the couple dressed up MyMoon with rustic décor, a colorful mix of floral arrangements and modern DIY signage. During the reception, which included a casual cocktail-style meal, everyone danced to Ethiopian music and participated in a traditional send-off with handmade lace tambourines. 
Our favorite #MakeTradition Moment: "We decided not to do a wedding cake and instead went with a dessert table and a ice cream truck from Van Leeuwen, which has the best ice cream in Brooklyn," Ashley says.
