An orange and blue color scheme set the tone for Shayna Fogleman (28 and a marketing and communications manager) and Dan Grassi (32 and a mechanical engineer) modern outdoor affair. The late-summer wedding included botanical elements, such as the tissue and crepe paper flowers centerpieces that Shayna spent more than a year creating. “They ended up being a huge inspiration throughout the wedding,” she says. “We incorporated them into the invitation suite and signage.” Shayna has always been a fan of simplicity, but when it came to her wedding dress, she “wanted something that really brought the drama.” Before Dan and Shayna first started dating, he bought her a bottle of almond sparkling wine for her 25th birthday. They eventually celebrated every major milestone with the same drink, and their wedding was no exception. “We ordered a few cases, and everyone had a glass to toast with at the reception,” Shayna says.
