A Modern Glam Wedding at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona

Amy Cannon (26 and a stay-at-home mom) and Mike Cannon (37 and a lead broker) knew they wanted to get married at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa as soon as they saw the venue. They were planning for an outdoor ceremony on the resort’s grassy island, but when it rained on their wedding day—in Phoenix, Arizona, that has to be a good-luck sign—they moved indoors to the intimate ballroom and made their celebration just as beautiful! Their sweet ceremony united the love they have for each other and their three kids, who were all part of the wedding party. Amy and Mike went with a simple palette of black, white and silver, with bright royal blue as the central color. Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse helped with all the stationery, created pretty white flower arrangements and designed the decor to make the day perfect. Amy and Mike’s wedding definitely had a lot of glittery accents too: Amy wore custom-made royal blue heels covered in embellishments, which showed up in the decor and even on the amazing wedding cake covered in crystals and glitter.
