A Modern, Glam Wedding at a Private Residence in Vero Beach, Florida

For their wedding Brittany Smith and Michael Schlitt planned a whimsical spring affair in Vero Beach, Fla. With a cheerful color palette of bright color and blush hues.

The day started with a beautiful ceremony under the shade of old growth oak trees dripping in Spanish moss. Panels of airy white fabric lined the aisle, both high and low, and the couple exchanged vows under an elegant four-poster wedding arch framed by monogrammed pillars topped with cascading arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and green amaranth.

A tented reception followed the ceremony, where sparkling chandeliers, whimsical fabric panels and soft pink uplighting set a romantic tone for the evening. Flickering candlelight cast a warm ambient glow over each table, and arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, and orchids infused the room with pops of color, energy and life. Gilded candlesticks, vases and accents were woven throughout for a touch of formality and glamour, while a chic white lounge with modern flair played introduced a modern edge to the decor.
