A Modern Garden-Inspired Wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado

After riding their bikes from Boulder to Tabernash, Colorado, the day before their wedding, Erin Brooks (30 and a physical therapist) and Paul Brooks (34 and a nurse) exchanged vows outside at Devil's Thumb Ranch. "We love it there and visit one or two times a year to enjoy the cross-country skiing and mountain biking," Erin says. "Long before we were engaged, we talked about getting married at Devil's Thumb. It was absolutely perfect and so much fun to introduce our friends and family to a place we love so much." Inspired by their active lifestyle and love for the outdoors, Erin and Paul filled their space with overgrown garden-inspired floral arrangements and super-personalized lawn games for cocktail hour. Although they didn't really have a theme in mind, they used soft pastels with touches of gold throughout the decor. One of our favorite parts was the stunning asymmetrical, geometric wedding cake from Intricate Icings Cake Design.
