A Modern, Country Wedding at Rock' N Dollar Ranch in Lumberton, Texas

Casandra Walker and Gerald Mathews lived in Los Angeles for over a decade, but they returned to their hometown for a wedding at Rock' N Dollar Ranch. They planned their "bohemian country-chic" celebration in only six weeks, and it highlighted the bride's country roots in a modern way. The ceremony was held underneath a DIY altar backdrop with branches and 250 flowers, where Casandra stunned in a fitted satin gown with a long veil, and Gerald wore a navy tuxedo. "We decided to light a unity candle during the ceremony, since we have been dating 22 years and already have three children. I wanted to include them into the candle lighting with us," Casandra says. "We are a bit free-spirited and not so traditional." For the reception, the couple transformed the rustic, industrial barn with fresh flowers and artistic decor. Their 75 guests sat at 12 tables topped with white hydrangea centerpieces, glowing tealight candles and smooth beach glass. The couple also had a glamorous cake table with two desserts: a round fondant cake and a square cake with chocolate drizzle.
