A Modern, Chic Wedding at James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Caitlin Senior (27, higher education administration) and Chris Hoffman (28, higher education administration) were both attending NYU for their master's degrees before they dated and although they only lived a few blocks from each other, it wasn' until they both signed up for the same study abroad trip in South Africa that they met. ?A few years later, Chris proposed to Caitlin with a big pearl (her favorite ring) in the intimacy of their home after a nice meal with wine from Chris' aunt's winery in Australia. Caitlin had always envisioned getting married in a glass structure resembling the Apple Store on 5th Avenue in New York City. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania provided just that, with a large, contemporary style glass pavilion. The couple chose a chic color palette of gold and white, bringing an elegant touch to their modern venue. The stylish bridal party included bridesmaids in stunning white Aidan Mattox dresses with silver beading and Caitlin in a breathtaking, ivory satin wedding dress with a striking cowl neck by Pronovias. Caitlin carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and her bridesmaids carried single stems of calla lilies. The glass hall looked gorgeous with embroidered ivory table linens, tall centerpieces arranged with baby' breath and short centerpieces with blush peonies, roses and delphiniums. The night ended with chocolate candy cake favors, a beautiful ivory wedding cake, and a waltz by the newlyweds based on their favorite movie.
