A Modern Black-and-White Wedding at W Dallas Victory Hotel in Dallas, Texas
Nicole Conda (31 and a communications manager) and Timothy (Tim) Woodson (29 and an IT consultant) designed their hotel wedding to be elegant yet contemporary and fun. A black and white color palette with touches of silver tied it all together.
Nicole and Tim loved the idea of getting married at a hotel. “Most of our guests live in other cities and had to fly or drive to attend our wedding, so we wanted it to be as easy as possible for everyone,” Nicole says. “We picked the W because of the amazing view from the top floor—our guests were able to watch the sunset from 33 floors up. It was really beautiful.”
White draping and blue uplighting provided a dreamy backdrop for Nicole and Tim’s nuptials.
Tim stood out from his groomsmen in a bespoke navy blue tuxedo with black satin trim.
Nicole’s sweetheart strapless gown was made from delicate tissue organza and tulle with a draped wrap bodice and swirling frothy skirt. A black grosgrain sash completed her look. To surprise their guests, Nicole and Tim taught themselves how to two-step for their first dance to Luke Bryan’s “Play It Again.”
The three-tier cake—vanilla cream and butter fudge cake with buttercream icing — sparkled with edible silver glitter.
