A Bright Wedding at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery in Spring Valley, Minnesota
Proving that not everything has to match to be beautiful, Allie Gernes (23 and a nurse) and Garrett Welle (23 and a medical student) embraced a cohesive-but-not-identical approach for their wedding. The peach, blush and red color scheme really came together in the watercolor stationery done by Allie. "Watercolor is just a nice way to convey the combination of those colors, and a super easy DIY that you can't really screw up," she says. As a bonus, the handmade details added a personalized touch. The wedding party kept up with the mismatched theme with bridesmaid dresses from different Etsy.com shops and handmade textured blush bow ties for the groomsmen. Not even the bouquets or centerpieces matched. All the details gorgeously fit in at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery in Spring Valley, Minnesota. Between the stunning grounds and new reception space (it wasn't even built when the couple toured and booked it), not to mention the delicious catering and amazing wine, Allie and Garrett couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
