A Backyard Manor Wedding at Beecher Hill House in Peshastin, Washington
Brittany Martinec (30 and an architectural designer) and Travis Leaf (32 and a architectural designer) got to know each other while they were on the same project at work. The two constantly emailed each other back and forth, and after plenty chatting and going on lunch dates, they officially began to date. After eight months, Brittany and Travis both knew they were in the relationship for the long haul and moved in together with their new puppy, Juno. On January 13 (Brittany’s lucky number) Travis told Brittany he was making her breakfast, but really was decorating the house in candles, rose petals and pictures of Juno edited with the words “Will you marry me?” As Brittany made her way down the stairs in her pajamas, she spotted the pictures and said yes before Travis could even ask the question. The couple had their outdoor wedding at Beecher Hill House in Peshastin, Washington, which was a historical manor located on a pear orchard in the middle of where both their families lived in the state. The outdoor space was decorated in accents of pink, orange and teal, from the vibrant flower bouquet to the teal bridesmaid dresses and the orange parasols held during the ceremony. Each guest was given their own champagne glass dipped in chalk pain with their name written on the base, which they were able to toast to the couple with on their special wedding day!
