The couple chose an acoustic version of Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory” for their first dance. “We both melted the first time we heard it,” Annu recalls. “We knew it was for us.”
Matching gold and red chairs were used at the ceremony.
The couple kept the decor to a minimum, using only colored draperies and red rose petals along ceremony aisle.
The couple had mango laasi in champagne flutes with red and white paper straws for their signature drink.
Amber uplighting illuminated the reception hall and was reflected in the crystal centerpieces and gold chargers.
The couple needed little extra décor for their outdoor ceremony. Instead, they chose to keep things simple, and let the natural beauty of the space shine. “It provided all we needed,” Annu says of their open-air setting.

A gold mehndi pattern was stenciled onto the couple’s four-tier coral cake. “It was perfect,” Annu says.
Annu worked with designers in New York, but had her custom sari made by tailors in India.
