The romance of the oldest city in the US created the perfect backdrop for a luxurious and dreamy bash with a Persian twist. Using shades of merlot, rose and pearl, Neda Khosravani (27 and an attorney) and David Khosrowzadeh (30 and a physician) infused a glam vibe into an affair rich in both tradition and elegance. The couple used a combination of Persian and Christian elements during their ceremony. Jewels dressed everything from the invitations to the bride’s bouquet. The vintage Tiffany glass that adorned the reception ballroom just happened to be in the wedding’s color palette. The towering gold and ivory wedding cake was inspired by Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal confection. Neda and David had their first dance to Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars” on a white dance floor, which was customized with their initials in gold. “We wanted something unique and special that wouldn’t put people to sleep,” Neda says. “It starts slow and picks up at the end to get everyone dancing.” At the end of the night, the couple drove away in a Ford Model T from the 1920s.
