For Emily Tricarico (30 and a speech-language pathologist) and Steven Wilkinson (29 and a sales manager), their shared admiration of their hotel venue was instantaneous. “We knew from the second we walked into the ballroom that it was where we would be married,” Emily says. “The room was unlike anything we had ever seen.” The modern, elegant space boasted white onyx walls. Steven and his groomsmen sported personalized kippas as way to honor Emily’s Jewish heritage, while the bride herself wore a subtle blush gown for the occasion.Flower girls toted vintage wood baskets, while the couple’s ring bearers carried a monogrammed glass jewelry box filled with the groom’s grandmother’s favorite flowers.  The couple exchanged vows in front of an antiqued mirror framed by cherry blossoms. Natural agate and geode elements dotted tablescapes and paid homage to Emily’s grandfather, who was a stone engineer. Dancing was the primary focus for Emily and Steven, who swayed to Adele’s “One and Only” during the reception. “My number one goal was to keep the dance floor filled throughout the night,” Emily says. Partygoers refueled with sushi, truffle chicken, peking duck and a cookies-and-cream-flavored cake.
