A Luxe, Bohemian, Fall Wedding at Dunton Hot Springs in Dunton, Colorado

For their destination wedding, Brenna Gilbert, 29, district visual manager for Anthropologie and Andrew McCaughan, 30, director of real estate and design for Shake Shack in New York City walked a fine line between luxe details and their rustic setting. To create a luxe aesthetic without losing the warmth of their rustic mountain venue, the couple (who met running for student council at Vassar) came up with a theme they call rough luxe which emphasized colors, hues and textures that were indigenous to the venue. "Anywhere we introduced something 'fancy' we softened it with a 'rough' element and vice versa," explains Brenna. "Fur throws? Had to be tossed over worn wood benches. Chipped antlers? Dipped them in gold paint."
