A Lively Wedding at 19 East Event Gallery and Chicago Illuminating Company in Chicago, Illinois

As a planner at Chicago's Big City Bride, Chissy Magliano knows a thing or two about weddings. "I've seen so many beautiful gowns, so I knew dress shopping was going to be harder for me," she says of planning her September wedding to Brady McDaniel. After selecting a custom, tulle-covered Lazaro gown, Chrissy found inspiration for their punchy design aesthetic in the form of a geometric table linen. "I fell in love with the hexagonal pattern and just ran with it," she says. "I also loved the idea of stripes, so I incorporated them into the save-the-dates, along with an illustration of the Chicago skyline." The lively reception kicked off with cocktail hour at the Chicago Illuminating Company, where guests enjoyed Moscow Mules and a custom bar topped with whiskeys, bacon-wrapped treats and cigars. Chrissy and Brady even splurged on a champagne bar and a lips and lashes station to truly pamper their family and friends. "Our style was definitely fancy, glam and fun," Chrissy says. Dinner was next door at 19 East Event Gallery, where guests dined on short ribs, homemade gnocchi and doughnuts before returning to the Chicago Illuminating Company for a night of dancing. "At one point, I got on stage with a tambourine before the DJ moved outside to play late into the night," Chrissy says of giving guests glow-in-the-dark necklaces and rings to keep the celebration going strong. "Our family is very important to us, and we wanted nothing more than to host a memorable day filled with love, laughter and fun. We got all that and then some." —Rachel Sylvester
