A Lavish Ballroom Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida
Colby Hale's (31 and works in medical device sales for Johnson & Johnson) vision for her wedding to Gregory T. Meyer (34 and works in commercial real estate) was classic and clean with lots of lush flowers. Shades of white, ivory, gold and fresh greenery came together to create a timeless, elegant aesthetic for their ballroom wedding. Colby's Berta Bridal gown was a showstopper. "The second I tried on a Berta Bridal gown, I was in love," she says. "They are so well made and fit like a glove." Colby's dress had a see-through lace back with a low-cut front and a sheer overlay, and it was covered in handmade lace and accented with pearls. She opted against a veil, fearing it would be swept away by the wind during their outdoor ceremony on the Ritz-Carlton's Oak Lawn. But Colby's gown wasn't the only showstopper that day. The all-white floral runner made from hundreds of hydrangeas that ran the length of the reception's head table was truly stunning. —Meghan Overdeep
