A Jewish Winter Wedding at Mansion at Natirar in Peapack and Gladstone, New Jersey
David Nurnberg (37 and works in business affairs) and Matthew Altshuler (34 and an attorney) first toured the Mansion at Natirar mid-renovation. In fact, a giant hole marked where the ballroom would be. “We decided to go with our gut, take a leap of faith and lock it down,” David says. Their day included a Jewish ceremony led by Matthew’s uncle and a five-course dinner. A purple spectrum, from plum to lavender, decorated the celebration, along with white and green accents. Calla lilies, arranged in varying heights, added depth to tablescapes, and made an appearance throughout the event, plus orchids topped the pair's vanilla buttercream cake. The two wrote personalized notes to guests on escort cards, and the night ended with a live rendition of “Blowin’ in the Wind” by friend and Peter, Paul and Mary member Peter Yarrow. "We were in agreement that we wanted this night to be a party," David says.
