An Intimate Destination Wedding at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Maui, Hawaii

Few things are more relaxing than a destination wedding on the beach in Hawaii. That's one reason Angela Riley (27 and a preschool teacher) and Ben Riley (26 and a US Army officer) had their laid-back, intimate wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Maui, Hawaii. “We chose the location because the Hawaiian Islands are like a second home to my family,” Angela says. “We also wanted a destination wedding to have beautiful pictures, memories and fun with our friends and family.” Majesty Photo captured the blue, red and white palette through images of many details, from the red rose and white hydrangea aisle decorations to the light blue knee-length bridesmaid dresses. The ceremony took place outside on the venue's property, where the flower girl dressed in a white ruffled dress sprinkled rose petals down the aisle. Angela and Ben were married at the white wooden archway draped in linens, with a backdrop of the tropical surrounding landscape. While the bridesmaids held ivory and pink round bouquets filled with roses, orchids and calla lilies, Angela had a red version of the same flower arrangement created by Country Bouquets Maui. The reception that followed took place on the oceanfront lawn, with dining tables covered in white linens and chiavari chairs set up for guests that were positioned underneath glowing lights strung from above. What really won us over was Angela's simple yet elegant Vera Wang dress, a strapless organza gown with a trumpet-style silhouette and ruffled skirt layered with tulle. "My wedding style was laid-back, with nothing overblown in decor or appearance," Angela says. "What mattered most to us were the destination and celebrating with our close friends and family."
