An Indoor Garden Wedding at Tampa Garden Club in Tampa, Florida
Everything about Brittany McLaughlin (27 and a research content specialist) and Jeff Gershon’s (27 and an account executive) wedding felt like a rose garden, from the orange rose and greenery-filled centerpieces atop green linens to the orange floral garland accent on their wedding arch. Table 6 Productions helped the couple to create a chic natural atmosphere fit for their Tampa Garden Club venue. Stephanie A. Smith Photography captured every detail as Brittany and Jeff began their day in a simple ceremony and ended with an indoor green, orange and gold reception. "I have always loved the color green; it represented the University of South Florida, where Jeff went to school. Orange represented the University of Florida, where I went to school,” Brittany says. The team at Andrea Layne Floral Design created beautiful tall and low centerpieces with orange roses, light orange garden roses, seeded eucalyptus, green hypericum berries and orange proteas overflowing from gold vases. Similar flowers were used for the bridal party’s bouquets, while Jeff donned a bright orange dahlia boutonniere. The couple's florist also lined the ceremony aisle with hanging arrangements of red-orange roses, orange garden roses and green hypericum berries. Another eye-catching detail was Brittany’s modern striped ball gown. “I fell in love with Hayley Paige's Guindon dress,” Brittany says. With the help of the team at The White Magnolia Bridal Collection in Tampa, Florida, she picked out a fun wedding dress that fit well with their garden affair. The couple’s cake baker complemented her dress as well as the couple’s decor with a four-tier round wedding cake. Every other tier was accented with either ivory stripes or a delicate piped detail. For future couples, Brittany shares a tip: “Remember to have fun and enjoy your special day.”
